THANKS FOR VISITING MY PAGE

Guy Croisiaux - Born in Neerpelt (Belgium) 27/12/1960
Profession: Retired

I started photographing in 1979, when it was the analogue era, as a portrait & fitness photographer. Until I came into contact with aviation photography many years later. It must have been somewhere at the beginning of the digital age. I became fascinated and started photographing planes more and more often. Both at airshows and along airports.

For many colleagues, photography is competition. I have no need for that. I've never been good at selling myself. Photography is a hobby that I want to enjoy. I don't feel the need to measure myself against others. Which doesn't mean I don't pay attention to skills and end results. On the contrary! Achieving good results is also important to me.
I also have no problem sharing information and knowledge with others. Even more; it gives me satisfaction when I can help others improve their skills. That's also one of the reasons why I like to invest time in a links page and a blog.

In the meantime I have +20 years of experience and I am still not tired of fast jets, helicopters and civil aviation.
